On the evening of Thursday 27th July 2000 I went to another Part Time Punks rehearsal which took place in the Old Main Hall of Cheltenham & Gloucester College of Higher Education Park Campus, (where I work).

I found this rehearsal very interesting as they were learning four new songs virtually from scratch. These four songs were "Judy Says" (originally by THE VIBRATORS), "No More Heroes" (originally by THE STRANGLERS), "Ever Fallen In Love" (originally by THE BUZZCOCKS), and "I Wanna Be Sedated" (originally by THE RAMONES).

By the end of the evening I thought they had got "No More Heroes" sounding quite good, and as for "I Wanna Be Sedated", well, I thought this was a great song which I would like to have as my signature tune because of the lyrics:-

"Just put me in a wheelchair And get me to the show
Hurry hurry hurry before I go loco I can't control my fingers
I can't control my toes Oh no oh ho"

Which is right up my street, as I go to a lot of Concerts and I am in a wheelchair with Cerebral Palsy which means I find it hard to control some of my limbs!!!
